2008 Great Lakes Sprint Series Champion

Kyle Noonan comes home with the 2008 Great Lakes Sprint Series Yamaha jr sportsman championship.

Rochester Hills, Michigan: Noonan Kart Racing family was in celebration mode after the final event of the 5 race series in New Castle, IN over the weekend of Aug. 8-10.
    The season championship came down to the final event of the season and Kyle Noonan came away with the championship. Kyle was up agianst the 2009 WKA 2 class national champion and 2009 grand national champion Both on the Birel Factory Team. a determined Kyle Noonan came away with the championship Driving the protype Noonan Kart Racing NK.r racing chassis. 
"I owe it to all those involved in making this championship come true!" The elated Kyle Noonan revealed after the final race. Special thanks goes out to my brothers Brandon and Blake for there support. Most of all to my dad he has worked endless hours to provide all of us with karts that give my brothers and I the ability to win races and this championship.
Kyle also competed in the Cadet Jr. Sportsmen finishing 6th place and 5th in the HPV jr sportsmen.

    Brandon Noonan comes home with 2 top 10 finishes in the 2008 Great Lakes Sprint Series championships.
    Brandon is doing well as he develops as a driver. With a series high 5 place finish at Circleville Ohio and a number of top ten finishes at the other events Brandon showed great promise at New Castle, IN driving a new Noonan Kart Racing NK.r Chassis racing to a 9 place finish in the HPV jr sportsmen pre final.

Blake Noonan comes home with 2nd place finish in the 2008 Great Lakes Sprint Series Kid Kart championship. 
    At 6 years old Blake is following in his brothers foot steps. Both Kyle and Brandon have won kid kart championships in proceeding years. Blake is making his way towards that goal. With one win and a number of top five finishes he shows promise for the 2009 season.
